Tour Itinerary

DAY 1: DALAT TO LAK (165 KM – 5 HOURS RIDING)

After breakfast, we set off for our exciting motorbike tour by visiting the must-see highlights of Dalat, including Crazy House, Dalat Former Railway Station, Dragon Pagoda. Next, it’s off to the remote countryside where you can enjoy the scenic view of the terrace fields and broaden your knowledge of how the locals make a living on their farms producing vegetables, flowers, coffee, mushrooms. Enjoy the winding mountain rides while you take in all the fabulous scenery. Take a break at a beautiful restaurant on the mountain pass and taste some delicious traditional Vietnamese cuisine.

We have some time to trek through the lush green rainforests to relax and enjoy the breathtaking nature of the Central Highlands. Ride through the vast rice fields and observe the rice agriculture of the M'nong ethnic minority people as well as enjoy their smiling faces coming home from their fields.

We arrive at our beautiful hotel that faces Lak Lake in the early evening, check-in, and stay overnight.

Awake to the sounds of the rural village, enjoy breakfast and a cup of coffee as you watch the morning activities of the M'nong Ethnic Minorities, heading to the fields or rowing their wooden boats to fish on the lake. We'll take a walk through Jun Village to experience the rustic M’nong’s traditional culture and their daily life. Resume back on the motorbike and ride through the small charming villages. We then trek to the peak of the Elephant Rock Mountain and enjoy the feeling of being in nature, a fascinating panoramic view of the whole village. Stop at the brick factory and learn how the hard-working locals produce bricks in their old traditional way.

Head to Dray Sap waterfall via the scenic winding jungle paths, we witness the massive waterfall of the highlands. The natural “Fairy Pool” nearby is well-worth for swimming after an awesome day riding a motorbike. The traditional Long House in the jungle of the highlanders is the place we stay overnight. Our dinner is full of excitement with BBQs and rice cooked in the bamboo tubes.

After breakfast, we embark on the fantastic ride along the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail, navigating through some of the most dramatic landscapes of the Central Highlands. We take in the scenic sights of the region and visit the rustic village to learn what the locals do for a living, enjoy their natural hospitality, and broaden the knowledge about their strength to battle for freedom during the Vietnam War. Today's ride is a great opportunity for you to explore some of the unspoilt natural scenic beauties which haven't been touched by tourism. You will have loads of opportunities to have some great photos of the trip. Our stops in the afternoon include visits to rubber, pepper, coffee, and curry plantations,... We arrive in Dong Xoai about 05:00 pm, check-in and stay overnight

After having a nice breakfast at our hotel, we resume back our motorbike ride to Chon Thanh to check out the last point of the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail before traversing through the stunning rubber plantation. The peaceful laneway leads us to Cu Chi Tunnels where you explore the immense network of connecting underground tunnels stretching for over 200kms. Location of severe military campaigns, these tunnels played a vital part in the Vietnam War.

We ride towards Ben Tre after taking a visit to the fascinating Vinh Trang Pagoda. We then skirt along the small country roads, to get to the local homestay for our night here.

DAY 5: BEN TRE TO CAN THO (150 KM - 5 HOURS RIDING)

We get on a boat navigating around the intricate small canals, a great way to get a unique aspect of the locals’ daily life here. The canals lead us to the village where we learn the locals making cakes and papers from coconuts. We get back to our hotel and jump on our motorbikes and ride through the fruit plantations of this tropical region. You’re welcome to try and enjoy the different kinds of fruits here that you might not find them back home. Our next visits including Honey Tea Factory, Dong Tam Snake Farms, ceramic, and incense villages would fulfill your day with an enjoyable experience. We arrive at the lovely city on Hau River Bank, Can Tho about 05:00 pm, check-in, and stay overnight.

DAY 6: CAN THO TO SAIGON (180 KM - 6 HOURS RIDING)

Get up at about 05:00 am, embark on an early morning boat, and cruise Hau River to enjoy the cool air and explore the terrific Cai Rang Floating Market. This feasts your eyes on a scenic view and gives you a special perspective of the locals who live on the rivers... 

Rise and shine, it’s time to set off on the final day with Vietnam Riders Motorcycle Tours. We resume back on our bike ride and traverse our way through the laneways with beautiful rice fields and remote country villages. We take time to learn what the locals doing for a living and enjoy their hospitable nature. The drive leads us to Saigon, our final destination, and finish our Dalat to Mekong Delta Motorcycle Adventure!
